Cruising around Europe

“The real trouble with reality is that there’s no background music.” I’m back from my lovely cruise trip. In short: I ate excellent food every day, therefore, gained some weight. I drank delicious cocktails and great wine every day. Poor liver. I went to the gym and sauna most of the days to balance all that excessive eating. I visited quite a number of cities in northern European countries. And i experienced sea sickness for the first time. When the opportunity to go on a free cruise trip knocks on the door you don’t just say no. I and my boyfriend jumped on the Artania cruise ship when it was making a stop at Amsterdam. It was the end of one tour that ended in Hamburg and for us, it was the first destination. Actually, the next tour started from Bremerhaven, Germany. The ship itself is very big and had almost 1000 passengers on board. It has three pools, spa, many restaurants, bars and cafes, library and a show lounge. Germany When we visited Hamburg it was the time of Hamburg’s port anniversary. The district near the docks was covered with booths selling different products and along with […]

I think you’re foolish if you spend your life in one place. The world is gigantic It’s a waste if you don’t try and see it.

Hellooo ! After a decade, i finally found time to write again. My life has been crazily busy. As you read before in Italy i had practically no time to write or even no internet connection. To sum my summer up i can say i liked the job very much like i liked it the last time , i had fun colleagues and was surrounded by happy people. Only one big problem was during my summer, which I cannot talk about in detail. That problem made my job very hard, but now it’s done and back to my regular life. It’s not so regular, though. After Italy, i got the chance to go on a cruise ship with my boyfriend. That opportunity came very fast and i had to make an impulsive decision. Since i basically had no vacation this summer i decided to go.  The cruise took us through England, Dover and the island of St. Peter Port; France, Le Havre; Belgium, Bruges; and Germany, Bremerhaven. All countries were nice, except i got a very bad expression of Dover. I saw only fat and ugly and lower class people. Pregnant women smoking and looking […]

School trip to Berlin

“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” Helloouu, I’m back from Berlin. The city of underground parties, bratwursts and beer. I spent there three full days plus one cocktail evening and a hard hangover breakfast on the departure day. A lot of sleepless nights and fun in general. I already posted all the party hardy pictures on Facebook so below the post i will show you some decent photo material. To start with my class and the other tourism and recreation management students set off early in the morning with a bus to enjoy the ride for eight hours. It could have been shorter but the bus driver wanted to make many and long breaks. When we finally arrived in the evening we had to check in into the hostel Sunflower, which looked nice with cool decorated walls. Later we went to eat dinner and enjoy some cocktails in a cocktail bar and smoke the water pipe.   In the next day morning, too early, we went to the Berlin underground to see how the bomb shelters worked. This was, in my opinion, the best tour during the whole trip. One reason could be that the other places where we went […]
